The service
DepositProof provides security-deposit deadline tracking, photo-proof storage, deduction validation and proration, and itemized statement generation, as described on this site. Features listed are the features that exist; we don't sell roadmaps. DepositProof is a documentation and arithmetic tool — not legal, tax, or financial advice, and not a property-management service.
Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe at the plan price, with the plan's unit cap (Solo 5, Portfolio 25, Manager 100).
- The Single Turnover Kit is a one-time charge covering one move-out disposition.
- Paid plans have no free trial and billing starts at checkout. A limited free tier (1 unit, 1 statement) is available on the claim page to evaluate the engine; it is not a trial of the paid plans. Cancel anytime from your Stripe customer portal link or by emailing us; you keep access until the end of the billing period.
Acceptable use
- Don't use the service to break the law, spam people, or attack other systems.
- You're responsible for the accuracy of the move-out dates, photos, and deduction details you enter.
- We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
No guaranteed outcomes
Our countdown guarantee covers one thing: if our countdown for a verified-core state is wrong and you miss that deadline because of it, we refund your last 12 months of subscription fees. Deposit deadlines, penalties, and court outcomes depend on your facts and your jurisdiction; a generated statement records your documentation — it is not a legal opinion.
Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We'll post material changes here and email active customers before they take effect.
